This invitation to share the stage with one of the world's most important bands is a celebration of Venezuelan talent, and also a reaffirmation of what we deeply believe: that music transforms lives. The Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra not only represents artistic excellence; it represents thousands of young people who have found a path of hope in El Sistema. Behind every note that will be played at Wembley, there are thousands of stories of overcoming adversity, inclusion, and excellence forged in El Sistema centers throughout Venezuela. From Venezuela, we continue to play for the world.", said the El Sistema's Executive Director, Eduardo Méndez.

Méndez also announced that the OSSBV will unveil its new image this summer, aligned with the highest international standards of cultural branding. “This is a transformation that goes beyond aesthetics, representing a profound renewal of vision and projection, which aims to position the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra as a symbol of Latin American talent and the transformative power of music.”

The Executive Director of El Sistema also assured that this announcement is only the beginning of major artistic milestones, international collaborations, and new repertoires that will mark this new stage for the OSSBV.

The Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela is spearheading the 50th anniversary of El Sistema, a unique musical and social movement born in Venezuela and replicated in more than 70 countries.
